The lack
Like how wonderful would it even be,
If I could see what you see,
I'd for a minute try and be you,
And you'd be me in this case too,
Because there's something people are missing,
They lost the empathy, they're not compassionate,
They taunt and they sneer, still like snake hissing,
With no decency and we have to sustain it.
How can we even try to thrive,
When it's only the need to survive,
Still scared, the pain is inherent,
Still worried like if we ever weren't.
It's just the reality,
We try now to live in,
"-Oh, what a pity..."
Nothing worse to be seen.
